About the Role: Advisor Support Associate
This is not your average back-office support job. The Advisor Support Associate is a linchpin in SmartAsset’s client operations, ensuring that both CPL (Cost Per Lead) and AMP clients receive seamless service.
From managing lead quality to handling financial operations and client communications, this role is all about precision, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:
1. Lead Invalidation Management
- Conduct detailed reviews of CPL leads to determine validity
- Analyze “Concierge” calls and decide whether leads qualify for credit
- Apply predefined criteria to ensure fairness and accuracy
2. Financial Operations
- Build FALC profiles for new clients (AMP & CPL)
- Resolve payment issues, especially credit card declines
- Prepare and upload invoices with meticulous attention to detail
- Update payment methods to avoid service disruptions
3. Client Support & Escalation
- Reassign cancellation cases to Account Managers for retention
- Create escalation cases when lead credits are denied
- Act as a go-to contact for client questions about billing, credits, and payments

Compensation
For residents of CA, CO, CT, MD, NV, RI, WA, and NYC:
- Base Salary: $52,000
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $56,000
