Overview: This full-time transcription role involves transcribing portions of Health Plan member responses to IVR calls using proprietary tools. The position ensures compliance with HIPAA and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe IVR responses including survey responses, medical conditions, and prescription drug names.
  • Transcribe recorded audio from phone-based interactions.
  • Complete strategic transcription marking projects.
  • Report member “do not call” requests to the transcription manager.
  • Escalate member reports of adverse events and negative or life-threatening comments to the appropriate program manager.
  • Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and company standards.
  • Complete all responsibilities outlined in the annual performance plan.
  • Perform all special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of transcription experience.
  • Ability to type at least 50 words per minute accurately.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus but not required.

Schedule:

  • Initial hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern for the first week (training period).
  • Post-training: Flexible hours as long as a 40-hour workweek is maintained.
