So, a little bit about this company: they are offering transcription positions. they’re excited that you have an interest in one of their openings. Daily Transcription provides services to entertainment, corporate and legal Industries, as well as academic in institutions. they are currently hiring a general transcriptionist Freelancers located in the US, Canada, United Kingdom and New Zealand.

they’re seeking native English-speaking transcribers meaning that you’re able to speak and write English fluently. someone who has excellent listening and typing skills that’s able to develop accurate text from audio or video files. the ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently delivering high quality transcripts in a timely manner.

So, this is what you need to be able to do: type at least 50 words per minute, have good listening and typing abilities, good attention to detail, independent have good time management, able to use transcription software, ability to insert time codes, proofread your own work, follow their guidelines and formats, and take constructive criticism from the quality control team, and ability to make changes in the time requested.

So, they are hiring about 10 to 30 hours per week. this is is an independent contractor position, which means that they’re going to pay you hourly, but you’re going to be responsible for all of your own business taxes, accounting, things like that. So, they’re looking for someone who already has 1 to two years of experience, and they’re paying $45 to $66 per hour of material, so what that means is finished product. Now, they are hiring either people who are very seasoned or people who are just getting started.

Now, they also have an AI editor position. you can check that out as well. they have a couple of different positions here, and if we go to indeed here and look at their reviews, they are rated as one of the highest transcription companies with 3.8. they get pretty decent reviews here, but of course, there’s always a mix of some people who love it some people who hate it. A lot of it depends on whether or not you’re good at transcribing or typing audio files.

Now, one thing to keep in mind is if you are just getting started and you click on their link here, just getting started they are going to take you to a page page where they’re going to offer you a course that you can take. So, that you can get the minimum skills that you need in order to be able to take on some of their projects. if you’re not interested in that or if you’re looking for more of a full-time role that’s going to pay you hourly and employee type position.

In this role, you’re going to be mostly ENT entering data into their systems. this position is remote, so candidates can be located anywhere in the US preference will be given to candidates who are willing to work 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. eastern time. they are going to pay $20 per hour as a W2 employee for a 40-hour work week.

So, main responsibilities: you’re going to access fund-related documents. These are documents from their different sources, including emails and through online portals. You’re going to match those received documents to the corresponding investor vehicles or portfolios.

You’re going to follow client-specific instructions to ensure proper handling and processing of those documents. Conduct verification processes to ensure that the data is accurate and correct, communicate effectively with the fund managers, colleagues, and external parties as needed, and meet any targets for email and document processing as established by your supervisor.

What they would like you to have is a high school diploma or GED at a minimum, good organizational skills, and be able to enter data. proficient in Microsoft Office, ability to work with others in a team environment and a demonstrated capacity to work in a fast-paced professional role. So, if you have these extra qualifications like an associate’s degree or a Bachelor of Arts degree, that is a plus. previous experience in data entry is also a plus, but it doesn’t say that it’s required.

So, in this position, there’s not necessarily any experience required. Now, this is going to be primarily a no talking on the phone roll, which means that if you have kids in the background, it’s going to probably be okay because you’re going to be working most of the day independently, entering that data and taking documents from their systems and then entering them wherever they tell you to, all right.

So, you’re going to go to their career page, and as you scroll down, you can see they have all of these different categories that you can refine your search. We’re going to want to filter on remote job, so you’re going to select yes. Now, it doesn’t show you in these different job search results whether or not these are remote jobs, so in this search form list, we’re going to type remote, and that’s going to bring up everything that’s opened.

Now, there’s a lot of things here, of course, that are related to it, but they did have one particular job that is in their accounts receivable department. They also have a client collection specialist, and so we’re going to look at the client collection specialist job today, but you can also come here and check out this accounts receivable job if you’re interested in that.

The client collection specialist is a remote position. In this position, the collection specialist is going to join the client AR collections team in RCM. This position will work with offices, hospitals, attorneys, and other internal customers to ensure that all client needs, which are most likely patients, are addressed accurately and efficiently. The collection specialist will provide product education, offer payment plan agreements, settlements, and handle a wide variety of questions while ensuring a world-class customer experience and meeting the goal of reducing less than 60-day balances.

So, basically in this position, what you’re mostly going to be doing is working in the billing department. You’re going to be processing a lot of payments. You’re going to be interacting with people regarding their balances. You’re going to do that by phone, email, or letter.

You’re going to handle sensitive information in a confidential matter, prepare updates on resolution to various levels of leadership, document all activities and attempts to reduce balances, prepare the placement packages for outside attorneys for possible litigation, communicate via telephone with the Ops management, physicians, attorneys, and internal customers, utilize tools to obtain better billing information, perform research and evaluation, and analyze and determine areas for improvement and education.

So, minimum requirements: they want you to have at least a high school diploma. They would like for you to have some remote work experience, dedicated work from home space in a non-distracted environment, ability to manage your time and tasks, some previous medical or call center experience is a plus. Again, they don’t mention any experience needed, they just say that it is a plus.

So, in this position, you may be able to do it without any experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, good critical thinking skills, and ability to compile and organize data. So, basically the only technical requirements is you need to be able to use your computer, you need to be able to use the internet, and you need to be able to learn their software programs.

Now, in this particular position, they’re paying up to $21 per hour depending on your skills, your experience, and where you live within the United States. the schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. So, no nights, no weekends. Great for parents who have kids in school and want to work from home.
