Senior HRIS Business Analyst, Workday L5
The Netflix HRIS Team manages and delivers applications for the constantly evolving needs of our HR organization. As Netflix grows globally, we continue to look for the best and brightest talent to scale with our growth opportunity. Our team is seeking an outgoing, curious HRIS Business Analyst to work in a rapid development environment with multiple internal customers throughout the business.
To succeed in this role you should have at least 5 years of working experience in implementing and supporting HCM/HRIS applications and be passionate about the internal customer’s business as well as the field of business analysis and QA. An ability to think critically and outside the box is a must. Responsibilities, but not limited to
- Work cross-functionally with multiple internal stakeholders including Employee Services, Talent Operations, Talent Management, and Planning teams.
- Configure, maintain and support Core HCM, Absence, and Compensation modules.
- Configure, and maintain business process definitions in Workday.
- Configure and maintain domain security policies, and business process policies in Workday.
- Review system configurations and design options to make recommendations
- Develop and support integrations (EIB), for inbound and outbound data exchange between Workday and other internal/external systems.
- Stay updated on Workday releases, assessing relevance for our business needs.
- Build reports and dashboards using Report Writer, and Discovery boards.
Experience & Competencies Required
- At least 5 years of hands-on Business Analyst experience working with Workday Core HCM, Absence, and Compensation modules.
- In-depth understanding of HR domain, and workflows.
- Project management experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think outside the box.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Familiarity with the Benefits module within Workday.
- Experience with other HR Technology tools/applications.
- Experience in the media/entertainment industry.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 – $720,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
